An original story about men’s desire. When an inexperienced boy touched a woman’s boobs, he obtained the special ability to install pleasure scenes of that woman. He and his best friend are living their days in excitement.
The original idea came from Kitayama Hiromitsu of Kis-My-Ft2. He’s taking a new challenge as this is his first role as a conceptor. To live “the best erotic campus life”, Nikaido Takashi plays the role of “Taka” in his first leading role in a drama, the inexperienced boy who got excited by his special ability. He will do his first kiss scene too. Kitayama Hiromitsu plays Nikaido’s best friend, who gets along with NIkaido in whatever he does.
In addition to that, Asakawa Nana who has starred in movie “Kaguya-sama Love is War” and the currently airing drama “Bokura wa Koi ga Hetasugiru” will play the role of the school’s Madonna whom Nikaido fell in love with. Ito Asako will play Nikaido’s mother.
The theme song of this drama is Kis-My-Ft2’s song “Motetai ze Tonight”.

My two cents of the drama…
Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about this drama. It’s kind of awkward, but honestly I’m quite looking forward to it. When I first saw the trailer, I was very shocked, like I didn’t expect it to be something like this. But as I started to let it sink in… I think I’m starting to accept it and purely looking forward to the drama. I know that there are lots of conflicts and uproar on the internet regarding this drama, that the topic goes beyond Kisumai or Johnny’s fandom in general. It hurts me to read the negative comments, it’s sad to learn that people are boycotting this drama to the point they’re trending a new hashtag to stop this from being aired, but I also feel kind of annoyed towards the fans who just blindly accept everything just because it’s their biases. I do think the general opinions are valid and that this is not an issue we should take lightly.
In the end, I’m still going to sub the whole drama, as I have committed to do so the moment I decided to sub Be Love. But I don’t think I can say much about it. I hope that they will prove the unfair judgment wrong, and that there are more to this drama than only cold jokes about sexual exploitations. I’ve read snippets of Mitsu & Nika’s interview of this drama and Mitsu did say he made the story as daring as he can, just up to the very point where they think female audience can still accept it. Well, let’s see.
Update 12/19:
I watched up to the third episode and seriously, the trailer was so misleading! This is a pure drama! Of friendship, of a first love, of university life! dTV should learn better to make trailers next time!
